To create a fair and equitable server with minimal issues, we have set out the following rules to make life simple. These rules have been borrowed from the oldest-running Minecraft server and should serve us well.
DO NOT GRIEF
Minecraft Wiki defines Griefing as:
...the act of irritating and angering people in video games through the use of destruction, construction, or social engineering. Popularized in Minecraft by teams, griefing has become a serious problem for server administrators who wish to foster building and protect builders. Most players tend to dislike and frown upon griefing, while others feel it adds a certain degree of drama to the game. Trolling, while mostly thought very similar to griefing, is not always known as the same thing. Griefing is normally malicious, while "trolling" is usually used in more of a joking manner.
Griefing on this server also includes taking items (power, etc.) from other players without permission. Most people will be happy to share with you, but do not begin rumaging through individual's crates without permission.
DO NOT SPAM
Spamming in this case is defined as sending any repetitive or nonsensical chat messages. This also includes begging for anything in game or begging for anything on Discord. You are welcome to ask for things, but you must accept the answer.
DO NOT CHEAT
This includes mods that are not included in the FTB Beyond modpack or anything that gives you an unfair advantage.
KEEP THE TWITCH STREAM ACTIVE
Kyle avoids reading Minecraft chat to keep the focus on Twitch chat, and you should to do the same!
Remember, without an active Twitch channel, the server doesn't exist. Do your part today!
Also, remember that subscribing to the Twitch channel helps pay for our server costs, and subscriving will get you a special colored name in Minecraft!.
